Welcome to Fishing Report Panama! As you well know, Panama is home to some of the worlds best big game fishing. Panama has many fishing packages and lodges to choose from. The best big game fishing takes place on the Pacific side with some well known lodges such as Tropic Star Lodge, Panama Big Game Fishing Club and the Panama Sportfishing Lodge. There are also some well know “mothership” operations such as Pesca Panama, which allows you to move around and stay on the fish.
Some of the legendary fishing grounds, where you will find monster yellowfin tuna, trophy black and blue marlin, sailfish and wahoo, are located only a couple hours from any of the fishing lodges. The preferred fishing spots are the Hannibal Bank, Zane Grey Reef and Montuosa Island.
